Remembrance Day today folks. Today is a day to acknowledge the Scarifies of all who served and serve for the defense of their homes. Whistler is loaded with awesome stuff to do today and tonight, but keep the reason for the holiday in mind. Wear a poppy and if you can go to the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph-Fire Hall, 10:45-11:00am. The armed forces don’t have an easy job, so take a moment to dwell on the lives that we’ve lost and taken in the pursuit of the comforts we enjoy.
Nuff Said.
Cornucopia kicks off tonight, for three mortal nights of entertainment, fashion, culinary wines and gourmet foods. Filled with hands on seminars, scrumptious dinners and sizzling after parties.
Tickets are selling fast so get to Dusty’s by 8pm, $20 for WAC members, $30 for non members.
For more fun stuff to do tonight see www.piquemagazine.com
Get out there!
